Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students will be motivated to read books about treasures, treasure hunting, and collecting. Books will be available on various reading levels.

As they complete books, they earn time in the habitat or playground where they can discover and dig for treasures using the metal detectors and digging equipment.

In addition to metal objects already in the soil, the habitat will be seeded with a few treasures for collecting and metal coins worth bonus points in class. The goal of this project is to motivate young readers to read and learn how to use technology to find treasures and geocaches planted by their teacher.

My students are special because all of my students are adventurous dreamers, and I plan to support their imaginations and take advantage of excitement in learning.
