My Project

I have a group of fifth-grade students who are highly enthusiastic and eager to learn something new every single day. They live in an impoverished area of South Los Angeles and come from low-income families. We are a Title I school where one hundred percent of our students receive free meals. My students do not all have the same opportunities at home and thus need to be exposed to as many opportunities as possible at school.

My students always try their best at everything and anything despite the challenges that they face in their daily lives.

Have you ever needed a little extra motivation to get things done? I sure have. My students and I are on the hunt for gold for our class store and raffles. With this project I am hoping that my students and I receive much needed items for our treasure box. The treasure box will be filled with incentives. The incentives that I am requesting are popular toys such as squishes, fidget spinners, poppers, and cool pens. Every Friday, I will do a couple of different raffles for my students. Each raffle will be a reward for things such as complete homework, classwork, kindness, good test scores, hard work, being responsible leaders.
