My Project

I created this project so that I could have some new and exciting items to put into my classroom treasure box. I use a super improvers wall, table challenge, and ticket system for my behavior management system. When a student moves up to the next level and when a table wins the table challenge, the students get to pick something out of their treasure box. I also pick two tickets each week from our pouches that students get tickets for being responsible, kind, and/or respectful. They get so excited when they get to pick something!

I would love to have these different prizes to add to my classroom treasure box.

Some teachers don't believe in rewarding students for expected behavior, but I think it is beneficial. It isn't easy for 6-year-olds to sit and work day in and day out. I love to show appreciation for their hard work and good choices! Some of the items I added to this project (slap bracelets, fidget spinners, pop-its) are fun prizes but also help with anxiety. The pencils are just some fun items for my students to be able to use instead of our regular yellow pencils.
