This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The calming tools that I am requesting in my project will help my students with the skills that they need to be safe in the classroom. In my classroom, I have students who need help regulating their emotions. The students in my classroom have experienced trauma that affects their education experience.

With your donation, my students will have tools and resources that can support their emotional development.

When students are out of regulation, they benefit from the use of sensory toys, calming exercises, and explicit teaching on how to make good choices.
