My Project

In my classroom, 56% of students speak Russian, Uzbek, or Portuguese as their primary language. These students bring a wealth of cultural diversity and unique perspectives, enriching our learning environment in incredible ways. However, language barriers can sometimes make accessing the curriculum challenging and hinder their ability to fully participate in class discussions and activities.

The translation devices I’m requesting will be a game-changer for these students.

These tools will provide real-time language support, allowing them to understand instructions, engage with their peers, and express their ideas confidently. The devices will also help me communicate more effectively with them, ensuring that all students feel supported and included in our classroom community.

My goal for this project is to create a more equitable learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their language background. These devices will empower my students to actively engage in their learning, develop critical thinking skills, and build confidence in their abilities.

What makes my students special is their resilience, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Despite the challenges they face, they come to school each day ready to engage and grow. By providing them with these translation devices, we can honor their determination and help them achieve their full potential.
