This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A learning environment can be just as important as the actual teaching that goes on in a classroom. By providing my students with these Flip-N-Go tables it will allow us to maximize our classroom space to better fit our learning needs.

Students learn best when they are in a comfortable learning environment that can transform to meet their ever changing needs.

I have been using flexible seating in my classroom for the past 6 years and I have learned that students thrive when given the opportunity and responsibility to choose where they learn best. Throughout the year we do a lot of group work and having tables that are easily movable will help us to rearrange our learning environment to maximize space and time.

This year I am really hoping to provide students with even more flexibility to their learning environment since there will be many students as well as extra educational staff providing supports. The ability to transform the space by physically moving furniture around will provide the best learning environment and provide maximum use of the space for the variety of activities we will be participating in throughout the year.
