A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. Every child, despite their situation in life, deserves the chance to be a part of a learning environment where they feel safe and cared for. When the environment is opening, students feel more inclined to be a true member of the classroom. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are. They are truly an incredible group that I am excited to work with this upcoming year, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year.
My Project
The grade 7 classic grade level library will help my students find a love for reading.
Many students today do not read as often due to technology; however, providing students with grade-level books that are high interest will help them find that love for reading while also strengthening their reading skills.
The classroom supplies will help keep the students and me, as their teacher, organized while also giving them their basic classroom necessities, such as paper, pens, and pencils.
In addition, the 15 drawer mobile organizer will help me keep paperwork organized in the classroom. Students will easily find their completed work, and it will keep the students on track of their work.
Because these students are middle school age, it is beneficial that they are exposed to different kinds of instructional strategies, which is why I have included some games to peek their interest during learning.
Lastly, the color paper will help bring color and brightness to my classroom. Students will have opportunities to create projects while also making interactive notebooks using this paper.
