My Project

Individuals with anxiety may fidget or make small movements when they are feeling anxious, restless, impatient, or nervous. Fidget toys give these movements an outlet, which can help calm a person's nerves, relieve stress, and distract in an overstimulating environment. I plan on using these as a coping strategy that can aid in immediate relief from symptoms while they are in school.

SourPatch kids and Fireball candy shift the brain's attention from sensations of fear, anxiety, and overwhelm to the vivid, assertive flavor in the mouth.

These tangible items help reduce mental health symptoms in young adults. They can use them after a session when they are at home. It's very easy and practical.
