My Students

My students are energetic, hardworking, and enthusiastic about each day! They love reading and sometimes I can't get them to put their books away. Each day I try to challenge my students to bring their best self into the classroom. They love a challenge so we often set goals and celebrate their accomplishments.

Funding and resources can sometimes be an obstacle for many of my students.

Therefore I do what I can to bring opportunity to the classroom. If we can surpass this obstacle the sky is the limit!

My Project

Reading is a great way to build fluency, vocabulary, and increase comprehension. I am soliciting new books for our class library. I transferred from one school to another and I was not able to transport my personal class room library. I'm certain my students will be ecstatic to receive new material and anxious to dive into the pages of the books chosen! Through a strong classroom library my students can have access to more updated, rich literary materials and hopefully this will further increase their love for literature.

Reading takes you on an adventure without leaving your seat!

I would love to update our classroom library to encourage my students to continue to read.

This project could improve the lives of students by putting them in contact with something that could motivate them to develop a passion for. Through reading they are able to have access to things otherwise they may not be able to obtain.
