My Project

Our classroom is filled with diverse learners, each bringing unique strengths and challenges to math. Some students thrive in discussions and problem-solving, while others struggle with confidence and need a supportive environment to share and grow. Sadly, math is often viewed as intimidating or unenjoyable—a perception we aim to change.

By fostering a safe and engaging space, we can meet our students' Social Emotional Learning needs and inspire a love for math.

Middle school, especially 7th grade, is a pivotal time for developing algebra and high school readiness, making it crucial to keep students excited and confident in math.

With your support, we can equip our classroom with essential resources: a quiet yet efficient pencil sharpener to accommodate students sensitive to noise, matte laminating pouches for glare-free learning visuals, inclusive math books to engage diverse learners, fidgets to aid focus, and storage bins for organized math toolboxes at each table. These tools will create an environment where every student feels prepared, supported, and ready to succeed.
