My Project

Research shows that round tables foster higher levels of on-task participation among elementary students by promoting collaboration and a sense of inclusivity. Unlike the outdated rectangular tables currently in my classroom, round tables offer a welcoming and comfortable space where students can engage more freely and feel supported in their learning journey.

I teach a diverse group of K-5 students who face significant learning challenges, often arriving two years behind their peers in reading and math skills.

I want to create an environment that feels supportive and inspiring—not punitive—to help them build confidence and thrive academically.

With this attractive round table and matching chairs, students will have the space to engage in interactive activities like problem-solving and playing math games. This table along with a set of chairs will encourage natural collaboration and promote the use of both formal and informal language in a non-threatening setting, all while cultivating excitement for learning.

Your support will help me transform my small group instruction into a collaborative and warm space where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
