My Students

I teach and coach a dynamic group of teens from West Philadelphia who are faced with many challenges, yet their resilience and perseverance brings them to school each day with hope and expectations that today will be better than yesterday.

My Project

Students face many challenges in the community daily, yet they come to school everyday with the expectation that they will be taught and cared for. Through the program I have developed, they are given the opportunity to not only increase their academic prowess, but strengthen their bodies as well.

I use kinesthetics to enhance the learning environment as well as create a higher sense of self worth for my students and it is rewarding to watch as they increase confidence and abilities; students are empowered to grow at their own pace!
