My Students

I have the most inquisitive and talented students! They come to school ready to learn new things every single day. They come into my classroom and the first thing they ask every morning is, "What are we learning today, Ms. Tam?" Our wonderful little school is a diverse wonderland of students from all walks of life. Not only is our student body diverse, but the students learn from and embrace each other's differences.

This year is especially challenging because the students are finally back in the school building learning after a virtual year.

My students are accomplishing and reaching goals that no 3rd graders have done before. My students amaze me every day through their collaborating, problem solving, and hard work.

My Project

I am requesting resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. TPT is a site where teachers have created rigorous activities for other teachers. Why recreate?? I love making fun activities for my students, but it is very time consuming and I just don't have enough time in the day! This site is great because it allows me to support teachers across the United States and use their resources that I can adapt to virtual learning.

Also, there are FABULOUS read aloud extension activities, such as art projects and directed drawings that correlate with texts.

I do not solely use TPT resources in my teaching but it is a great way to extend and elaborate on the standards we are learning.

Lastly, TPT has stayed current with times! All the activities are ready for students' online learning!
