My Students

My class includes 6 non to low verbal students on the autism spectrum. The children often need assistance throughout the day to help stay motivated and focused.

I am asking for your assistance in receiving sensory objects for my students that will benefit them to focus better during the school day.

My class would greatly benefit from having tactile objects, manipulatives and sensory activities. This would aid them in concentrating on the teacher as well as the activities.

Children thrive when they are at their best and I am hoping that having these sensory objects at there fingertips in the classroom will help them stay focused. Thank you for your generosity.

My Project

Once these items are received my class will greatly benefit from being able to use the materials during free time. For instance mouthing the chew tubes as well as feeling and holding the sensory balls.

The sensory items will help my children be able to stay focused and maintain attention during the school day.

The children will independently choose the items they'd like to use. Instead of a child mouthing an article of clothing they will be able to appropriately use the items specifically made to allow them to have the sensory input. The children will be able to release and express the needs when using these objects much better.
