Touch and Trace! The Way We Love to Write!

Help me give my students a new way to practice letter writing. Studies show that using tactile techniques, like these sensory pads, help the children learn and retain much better. I would really appreciate your help!

My Project

One on one instruction is a necessary and vital part of learning in a kindergarten classroom. If these sensory tracing pads were purchased, it would enable me to focus on the development of penmanship for all of my students.

Learning how to form proper letter formation is a foundational skill that kindergarten students need to learn.

Studies show that adding a tactile, or sensory piece to the instruction cements the learning and also makes it fun.

If these sensory pads were purchased, I would use them in a small group as well as individually to help correct and foster proper penmanship. This, in turn, would promote better retention of letter sounds and recognition.
