My Students

My students are a wonderful group of learners who come from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. While my students come from hard-working families, some of them are lacking the necessities to be successful in today's world. Many of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch, but all of them love to learn. My students are creative, independent thinkers who are maturing and gaining a much-needed strong foundation for middle school. My goal is for each student to improve as much as possible and build the most solid foundation possible for their future education.

My Project

During distance learning my students don't have the opportunities for physical education that they normally would while at school. One of the things we do in school is play catch. It seems so simple but so many children today don't engage in this important hand-eye coordination activity. The students really enjoy catching and throwing with their classmates. Since we are still distance learning, I want the students to be able to engage in this fun at home. These items will allow students to play catch either with a person at home or on their own. Either way, they will still have practice with hand-eye coordination.
