Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year every student in the school makes a clay project. I have had to use pvc pipe as rolling pins because it is what I can afford, however, the clay sticks to the pvc pipe and makes rolling hard. Having wooden rolling pins will help them roll out the clay swiftly so they can get to the fun part of the project.

In 3rd grade students make flower bowls for Mother's Day!

They love this project and are very excited to make a gift for their mother. In 50 minutes they must roll out the clay, cut the flower shape, mold it into a bowl, and decorate with smaller clay pieces. Having rolling pins that work well with help every student achieve this goal.

I work at a Title 1 school with mostly minority students, it fills them with joy to be able to create beautiful art projects. Thank you for your support.
