My students are creative and kind. They are self motivated, problem solvers, that benefit from hands on experiences. They are not like the current generation, in that they seem to be motivated beyond, "tell me how to do it". They are the students you see involved in everything: sports, music, dance, carpentry, etc.
And best of all, my students are curious.
They question and seek answers while pushing themselves to find new ways of achievement. They are technologically inclined and seek excellence in the arts.
My Project
Students need tools and organization. This project will require both. With a new tool storage cart and new sculpting tools, students will spend less time looking and more time making. Students have been using all recycled pottery wheel parts and would benefit from new equipment and the ability to find where it is stored.
We will help foster the creative spirit and be the vehicle in which the students can make new art pieces.
Students will be using these new tools and new equipment to use their time more wisely and spend more time on the creation of their ceramic projects.
