My Students

My school services a high poverty, Title I area. Many of my students are special needs students that strive for the best. My students' minds and hearts grow each day as they enter the building ready to achieve their dreams.

Compassionate, thoughtful, and hard workers attend my sessions daily and feel confident and proud with the strong students they are becoming.

Many of my young students face both personal and academic challenges. Students with learning disabilities, homeless, hungry, enter our building everyday with an eagerness to learn and gain new experiences. My goal is to build on their energy, foster their determination and help them achieve their dreams in a safe, loving, welcoming environment.

My Project

My students will be so excited to have new markers, crayons and colored pencils to guide them through their work.

Everyday my students work hard to read, and write.

With colored pencils, pens, markers, and highlighters, each student will be able to find main idea, supporting details, or find words linked to our new skill.

Every Clipboard, binders, and pocket charts will help organize all of the students that attend my groups. It will make reading and writing more obtainable. Each group will be color-coded and organized to help students focus on the skills they need to improve their reading.
