Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are working hard while safely in their homes. I have students from various cultures and backgrounds represented in my class. They're curious & eager to learn, even while at home! These materials will really help them access the material & shine!

My Project

These materials will help my students learn from home. Learning from home can put students in the middle of various distractors. Headphones for each child will help minimize those distractions; therefore, allowing them to more easily focus on learning. I also have included some manipulatives & visuals that will help my students. Math require many hands on materials that students don't have at home. The magnetic place value blocks will be an excellent resource for the students & will also allow the teacher to be able to determine if students are grasping the material. The giant place value blocks & money magnets will be great for the teacher to display. Many of the students are also struggling in the area of writing. These story strips will guide students in writing!
