Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m requesting supplies like whiteboards, dry-erase markers, wax sticks, and other fun tools to help my K-3 students develop their writing skills in an exciting and hands-on way! These materials will allow my young learners to practice writing, experiment with new ideas, and make changes with ease. Whiteboards and dry-erase markers are perfect for quick practice and revision, helping students build confidence as they see their work come to life in front of them. Wax sticks provide a creative, tactile way for early writers to work on fine motor skills while adding a fun, hands-on element to their writing activities.

With these tools, my students will feel empowered to explore their ideas, improve their writing, and grow as confident young authors.

They’ll have the opportunity to try out new concepts, make mistakes, and learn from them in a low-pressure, supportive environment. These resources will make writing more engaging, encouraging students to take risks and express themselves freely. Your support will make a huge difference in their writing journey, giving them the resources they need to succeed and develop a love for writing that will last a lifetime.
