Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The materials requested, including sand timers, snacks, and reading fluency folders, will significantly enhance my first-grade students' learning experiences in several ways. Sand timers will introduce a fun and structured way to manage time during activities, promoting focus and productivity. Snacks will ensure students have the nutrition they need to stay energized and engaged throughout the day, supporting their ability to concentrate and participate actively in learning tasks. Additionally, reading fluency folders will provide personalized resources tailored to each student's reading level, fostering individual growth in literacy skills and boosting confidence in their abilities.
My goal for this project is to create a supportive and enriching classroom environment where every student can thrive academically and personally.
What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for learning and their diverse backgrounds, which bring a richness to our classroom community. I am committed to equipping them with the tools they need to succeed and empowering them to reach their full potential.
