My Students

My students are hardworking and always up for a challenge. They are great problem solvers and always try to think outside the box! I foster positive communication skills and teamwork within my classroom.

We live in a world where Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are important and will assist students in personalizing their learning.

Students in my class will challenge themselves, learn to think creatively, and how to persevere through STEM.

My Project

This is my first year teaching STEM in our elementary school where I will be motivating 4th and 5th graders to be engaged in the engineering process. We live in a world where Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are important and will assist students in personalizing their learning. Students will use the materials to challenge themselves, learn to think creatively, and how to persevere.

While students are working in my Tinker Lab, they will learn to become problem solvers and creative innovators.

I cannot wait to help shape the minds and create the next problem solvers of the world. These students are the future and will learn this year how to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

The supplies that I have listed will enhance my STEM class by giving students many options in creating class projects. In addition the books that I have selected will enhance STEM class by showing students that literacy can be integrated into their personalized learning projects. All of the books have been chosen with my students in mind and will help them create projects and complete lessons.
