My Project

Providing our students with a variety of learning materials and styles is the greatest way to support this diverse group of learners. Our students range from grades K-3 and have intensive special needs. Many of our students need hands-on learning activities to engage in learning, while others are visual learners and are more engaged in electronic formats. The iPads offer our students access to the digital world where they can use specific apps for interactive learning, or take photos as a way to demonstrate comprehension of the lessons taught. Multi-sensory learning helps create an environment where students can be creative and demonstrate their knowledge in many ways. The glue sticks, paper plates, ink pads, markers, and glitter are craft supplies that enhance lessons by allowing students to demonstrate understanding through creativity. By exposing students to new materials, we are fostering their love of learning and creating lifelong learners.
