Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need many tools to set them up for success. We will use the paper organizer to put their daily work there. This will help them with independence as they will be able to go get what they need. We will use the pocket chart to display the schedule each morning. Students will be able to reference the schedule on the pocket chart and know what to expect next. This will help keep the flow of the day smooth and avoid students asking what are we doing next? Students will be able to use the individual dry erase erasers when they need them during phonics word work.

There are supplies students need and supplies teachers need to be successful.

My co-teacher and I will use the supply belts to have supplies we need readily available throughout the day. We will use the highlighters to help students practice writing their name properly. They will be able to trace, with their pencil, what we write in highlighter. We will use the locks to keep our supplies safe after school hours. We will use the stress balls for students that are having a difficult time and need to be doing something with their hands in order to pay attention on continue working hard.
