Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright and energetic and I love when they seek out help so that they can return to the classroom and learn.

Using games and fidgets is a very effective way to help students engage in difficult conversations.

When students can direct their hands and eyes to a game or something in their hands they start to relax and communication is easier for them.

Mini basketballs are used in groups and restorative circles as a way of taking turns talking.

I have requested lots of fidgets so that I can give them away and students can use them in the classroom.
