My Students

"We all learn differently, and we all need different things to help us be successful!" That's what I always tell my class of differing abilities. We all need different resources. You can help my students obtain some of the resources they need to be successful in an inclusive classroom!

I teach twenty-two wonderful students in a First Grade classroom in a high-need community.

My students are a beautiful, multi-cultural group with differing abilities. My classroom is hands- and brains-on, and we love to learn from one another and through music. We love to sing and dance. My goal is to inspire my students to believe in themselves and become lifelong learners. They have made my life brighter, and I would like to brighten theirs in return!

My Project

My students with special needs will use the sensory balls during class to help them focus and meet their sensory needs during instruction. The timer will be used to provide structure for students with special needs and help them manage time while working. Finally, the headphones will help the students focus while using reading programs on the computer or iPads. These materials will provide support for my students with special needs and help them have success in the classroom!
