My Students

My students are from diverse backgrounds, the majority being African-American. Our school is a Title I school, meaning that the majority of our students are from low-income households or shelters.

Approximately 60% of our students attained a level 2 or below on the NYC state tests.

However, we believe our students, given our student-centered learning approach, can achieve the Regents Level requirements of the New York State. To this end, we could really use all the resources we can get to achieve this goal.

My Project

My studio for live presentation both in person and remote is located in my classroom. I need the connector to connect the Apple computer to the Promethean Interactive Board. This way the presentation can make use of both online interactive board and the Promethean Board in the Classroom, engaging both the students in the classroom and those participating from home.

The Apple Pencil makes graphing, drawing, and given written feedback easier.

I can work along with students on their individual whiteboards giving guidance to structure and accuracy in their work.
