My Students

My students are creative, fun-loving kids. They come from low income families and do not have much experience with the world outside of their community. Many of my students have older and younger siblings which makes it harder to learn online when they have to share devices and share their parents.

They are eager learners and attempt the do the work as best as they can each and every day.

My Project

There materials will give my students the basic tools they need to be successful learners. Each student will have a set of supplies that they can use in school and at home during the next school year. I would like each students to have their own set of supplies which include multi-packet folders and multi subject notebooks to help them organize all their work that they need at home and in school. To limit sharing in the classroom each students will get their own case of supplies like color pencils, pens, pencil, glue scissors etc. Not only will the students not have to share, but they will have it to take home and use when they are learning remotely. Some of my students do not have the most common school supplies at home such as scissors and glue, or even paper to write and draw on. Therefore, these supplies will allow them to learn and be creative wherever they are.
