My Students

"Be Curious" is my class quote. Students are strongly encouraged to actively participate to foster their learning.

I teach middle school mathematics in the South Bronx to a group of scholars with the potential to change the world.

Although their environment may be harsh at times, our classroom is a safe place to experience new thoughts and ideas. Our school has done a great job at providing positive systems for students to strive.

My Project

Unfortunately middle school can be a tough place to openly explore without judgment from peers. For some, they lack the funds to have a sharpened pencil everyday others may be hesitant to respond to class or group questions. Using the dry erase boards may give them the confidence to try.

My students will learn that I am not the only one that cares.

While the school or home budget may not allow for them to be a priority, your donation will give them that special treatment they crave.
