Help me give my students tools such as chairs and stuffed animals for learning at the rug! Rug time can be incredibly useful learning time, but for young students who are learning to self-regulate, we need tools to help!

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Rug time can be an incredibly valuable time for learning in the classroom. It is where we do most of our whole-class learning and collaborate with our classroom community. While young children are still learning to self-regulate, tools support them to get closer to their goals.
The HowdaHug chairs help them stay sitting up while they are still growing their core strength.
Weighted stuffed animals can help them feel more grounded with something heavy to hold onto. Whiteboards and dry-erase markers mean they get to try out some new skills before they even leave the rug. This means the adults can help them brainstorm and troubleshoot before they leave the learning area.
