Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are bilingual kindergarteners full of enthusiasm and curiosity for learning. This will be a year full of changes for students and teachers alike. Though we're still unsure whether we will be completely remote or hybrid, what we do know is that I will have a class full of little ones eager to learn.

My Project

Kindergarten is a child's first year learning each of the letters and how to write them! Dry erase boards, plastic sleeves, markers, and erasers will allow them to follow along with what the teacher is doing from home while building meaning.

These materials will help my kindergarteners learn in an interactive and engaging way from home.

Unifix cubes and other manipulatives will help my students to not only understand numbers but to touch them, build them, break them apart etc. Headphones and stylus pens will help ease students into learning through technology and eliminate distractions.
