Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Biology is everything. It is the world around us and in us! The focus of our biology class this year is experimental science with a health lens. Students are exploring how our external environments impact our health. From sampling locations around the school to measure the bacteria to checking our own heart rates to understand the effect of mustard gas during WWI.

Our classroom is interdisciplinary.

We work closely with the Social Studies teacher to align our units so that our work can be emphasized in their minds.

The equipment we are requesting will help us run successful experiments!
