This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello All,

I'm a teacher who really likes to engage his kids in hands-on activities.

From building air-driven cars, to creating projects on famous historical figures, I'm looking for kits to help make learning a tangible experience.

So, I'm requesting items that we can use in groups, teacher-led or not. These are all tools that fit into the lessons and topics we cover, in a given year. Will they make all the difference? Well, no. They will, however, give me more tools to help accomplish my goal: Preparing our kids for academic success.

Among the items, are 2 laptops, which provide me with extra hardware to use for online learning products, such as IReady. I also have a number of flash card sets for practicing sight words and prepositions. Then there are the hands-on kits for math and telling time. These are all items that lend themselves to my particular approach to groups, and I have no doubt they will prove very useful.
