Help me give my students equipment for heavy work and to help them get the sensory input they seek.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Howe's classroom raised $1,143

My Students
Our school is in a small, rural, farming community. At least half of the students in our school district qualify for free or reduced-price lunches.
My students are kind, funny, and BUSY.
Many of them are diagnosed with ADD, autism, or sensory processing disorder. They need help being able to focus so they can learn and be successful in the general education classroom.
My Project
My students all qualify for special services most of them have been diagnosed with ADD, autism, or Sensory processing disorders.
Our school district has been in person since the 20-21 school year, however, there have been many disruptions due to Covid-19 illness and quarantines.
This seems to have a larger impact on my students with the mentioned disorders. They have a much harder time transitioning and staying focused in the classroom.
I believe the new equipment will help them engage in heavy work or give them appropriate items to "fidget". The heavy work and fidgets should help my students be calmer and more focused.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
