My Students

My students are a large group of curious readers from Brooklyn, NY. These eighth-grade students love to debate and make connections between what they read and what they learn in other subjects. In addition, they are also always making connections to the real world. Many of my students do not have the resources or the support at home to purchase their own copies of books, so I am constantly searching for ways to put books in their hands, even if it means buying them the books myself.

My Project

The toner will enable my students to be able to show their thinking by incorporating technology into our classroom. We have a wonderful classroom printer, but toner supplies are very difficult to come by. Many students cannot print at home and do not have the resources to purchase copies outside of school. It is my hope that with this project, all of my students will be able to print whatever they need at anytime, without stress or worry! I am hoping that you are able to help our classroom out with this project. You will be doing an incredible service to some incredible 8th graders!
