My Students

My students, in our Title I school, come from very diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Many are 1st or 2nd generation US citizens. Although their needs and interests vary greatly, they all have one thing in common, a love for learning!

My Project

We are hard at work, becoming authors of a variety of genres of writing: personal narratives, informational articles, opinion essays, fiction narratives, and responses to literature.

We need toner for our Donors Choose-provided printer, so we can print out our work and see the fruits of our labor in black and white!

Holding the still-warm hard copies of our work will keep us motivated.

Having a USB hub with an ethernet adapter will also help us, as our wireless internet can be a little wonky at times. We love being inspired by other published authors, and having the ability to be hard wired into our internet will make sure that we don't miss out on a story or author interview due to poor wireless.
