Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are truly exceptional! They work hard to succeed. They persevere when faced with a challenge, creatively inspire our community, and believe in one another. They are tomorrow's leaders and world-changers. They are our future and together we can help them reach their dreams. They come to our Title I school every day where resources are very limited. Some of our students are unable to purchase supplies, and the school is only able to do so much with the budget they have. Our students strive to do their best!

My students are energetic, smart, and motivated to succeed.

Teaching students to grow their own food is a lifelong skill that will benefit them for years to come. We have beautiful garden beds with watering systems. Now, we have realized that our plants need proper support to grow and thrive, as well as keeping them off the ground and away from pests. We need the garden cages and fences to make support systems in order to take care of our vegetable plants so that they can grow and thrive.
