This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What can I say? I love my job, it gives me great please in being able to make their day as fun and enlightening as possible. It may not always work as my lesson plan says but when is learning perfect.. that’s right never, but getting to enjoy the process is the best way to go.

My students come to school in their wheelchairs with the excitement of what the day will bring and what special things we will be learning in class that day.

With the use of the paint cups we will be able to keep our paints fresh and organized, due to some lack of fine motor skills these will help master our independent skills to the best of our abilities. With the sponges it will make the paint come alive in our hands and give us the sensory stimulation that we desperately need on a daily basis. Any items that gives us an type of sensory stimulation is what gives our learning a much needed boost.

With the use of the laminating sheets we will be able to keep our wonderful crafts for longer periods of time and at the same time give us the opportunity to write on worksheets and if we make a mistake we can start all over. All materials that are in this request it gives each student an opportunity to make their day easier and be able to work together as one.

It brings me great joy in being able to able bring about the best in each students but with the right materials and tools this can be accomplished.

Each day brings great joy and a need to learn and explore and this is what each material provided will bring to my students.
