My students need a Davis Weather Station to help enrich their learning about weather.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
What's the weather like today? Now you will be able to ask any 5th grade student and they can tell you.
The 102 students vary as much as the weather does.
There are gifted, English learners, general education, and special education students that I teach during Science Rotation. We are a school that is losing it's Title 1 funding due to changes in the percentage required.
My Project
We have been given the opportunity to have an Environmental Scientist visit our school, give demonstrations and teach lessons to the students on collecting and monitoring weather data. The students will gain a greater knowledge about our changing climate. This is why I am asking for the Davis Weather Station.
Please fund our project so the students are able to take part in this exciting experience to have a hands-on approach to the weather and a better understanding of our changing climate.
