My first graders love to read! They get so excited to read books that represent their interests and passions.
My students enjoy our read-alouds about real people who were brave and had to overcome adversity.
The biography books I have chosen will bring even more variety to my classroom library.
Increasing our small classroom library with diverse books and a bookshelf will continue to stimulate my students' love for reading. In addition, these books written by diverse authors will allow my students to connect with characters that they can identify with.
