My Students

My class loves to learn and I always try to include supplemental projects or materials to enrich the curriculum. However, due to being allotted printing paper for the rest of the year, we are severely limited in the number of projects we can do.

My students are very eager, very hungry fourth graders who are not only limited with resources at home, but also in their own classrooms.

They strive to perform their very best and are very much game when it comes to sharing resources and materials in the classroom. Due to state and local budget cuts, we are severely depleted from the most basic of materials such as paper and scissors.

My Project

We need paper to print handouts for the classroom as well as homework assignments so that our students can practice the concepts and skills they learn during the day. We also need scissors so that we stop bothering our neighboring classes when working on art assignments and various other projects, due to my class not having enough to accommodate our increasingly large classrooms.

Basic school materials should be present in every classroom, and not having these only creates downtime as we scramble to share and/or ask other teachers to borrow their materials.

We should be spending more time learning, and less time finding tools to learn with.
