Help me give my students plays to read for their AP lit course. Our students do not have access to copies of these plays to help them be successful on the AP lit exam.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Thank you so much for your support of this project and of my students! Having to read is often a chore for some students, but we are trying to update the choices with modern, high-interest texts.
Since our school has ALL of our students qualifying for federal free or reduced lunch aid, many students can't afford the additional cost of purchasing their own copies of the texts for annotating and taking home to read.
You've given them classroom materials, but you've given them so much more: confidence that they are prepared to succeed as they continue on their high school journey. This is a gift that they will benefit from for many years to come!
My Project
Students in my class are taking Advanced Placement Literature, and for the first time, are reading works they have never been exposed to before. Being that our school is a Title 1 school, we do not have many copies of books and plays for our students to read.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Reading plays is a very important part of the AP literature course, and the literary voices of the playwrights in their dialogue and monologue-filled stories not only give the students insight into the perspective and multiple personalities wrestling inside the author, but students will get a front-row seat to the real and complex political, cultural, and personal dramas throughout most of history, proving that almost every play serves as an artistic reaction, in real time, to the issues of its day.
