My Students

My students are part of a diverse community. They are eager to learn and experience the creative process. They come in to the art room with great anticipation for what they will experience there. They love working with different art materials and take great pride in their accomplishments.

Art gives children the chance to express themselves like no other subject can.

The skills learned in art also transfer to academic subjects; helping our boys and girls to experience a richer, more well-rounded education.

My Project

I am requesting a variety of painting and art supplies to have an enriching experience in art class. These supplies will give my students a wide variety of art materials to choose from. They will help me provide my students with a great visual art foundation and experience.

My students are always excited when introduced to new materials and work surfaces, and are eager to use them in a way that demonstrates their understanding and self-expression.

These new materials give them the opportunity to think outside the box, to experiment and create with mixed-media, manipulating each one to achieve just what they want to accomplish.

Welcome to art class where you are only limited by your imagination. Students learn about the creative process through experimentation. Having a variety of materials to choose will provide those opportunities and foster my students' skill development. Providing quality art instruction and art materials helps our boys and girls know the work they create is worthwhile.
