My Students

Our fruit stand will go perfectly with our shopping cart, kitchen, and table in our pretend play center.

My students live in one of the poorest areas of the San Fernando Valley.

They do not have many opportunities for pretend play other than when they are at school. One of my main goals as their preschool teacher is to provide an enriched environment for their learning.

My Project

My students love our pretend play center. They love putting all of their groceries into the cart and carting them around the room. This fruit stand will just be another layer for their pretend play. This will bring their imaginations to a higher level.

Please help me provide yet another way for them to enrich their imagination.

With the fruit stand in our classroom it will be a full circle center. They can get their groceries from the "market", take it home and put it in their kitchen, and then serve it on our table. They would absolutely LOVE it!
