Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a laminator in order to preserve the many projects my amazing first graders create! We also print out a lot of flashcards, phonics materials, games, write and read the room activities, and more. Paper is precious. Colored printing is also precious. Keeping our materials laminated ensures that future generations of students can use the materials. I can print curriculum and learning tools once, laminate, and save for the following year. My goal is to simplify my planning and maximize efficiency.

The toys I have requested will benefit my energetic and enthusiastic young learners.

They love to work with their hands, get their body moving, and play with each other. They are fascinated by dinosaurs and the dinosaur toys will help with imaginative play. They also love to play store and therefore the cash register will be awesome. The magnetic blocks are great for building and during our free choice time.

My students have been working hard for the last 100 plus days. I can't believe that they will soon be 2nd graders. I want to continue to provide them an engaging and fun learning environment.
