My Project

As a math teacher in a South Brooklyn school, some of my students have more resources at home than others. As a ninth-year teacher, I think it is imperative that my students all get equal opportunities to do well on their assignments. Despite the many challenges some of my students might face, I am looking to keep things interactive and simple. I want to provide my students with the resources they need to succeed in my class and in life. Keeping a neat and organized classroom by having filing bins will help keep our worksheets organized. Getting new ink and drum will help us to have our individualized differentiated instruction. We need paper towels to keep our classroom clean and germ-free so we can spray down the desks and sanitize them. Having colored highlighters can help us with our lesson on combining like terms where we use colors to help us differentiate the terms. I want to have my students feel like they are in a safe space where they can learn. We also have an arts and crafts club where students have their imaginations come to life.
