My Project

I love teaching and science is my passion! Unfortunately, it is often overlooked by math and ELA. Of course those are very important but science is too. I spend hours coming up with creative ways to get kids excited about all things science but I don't have a lot of supplies to help.

I want to inspire future astronauts!

I get to spend several weeks getting my kids excited about our solar system. Other than knowing the names of the planets, most of them have very little knowledge about those planets, our moon, how eclipses occur, or all of the other wonderful things I get to explore with them. Being able to have a model of our solar system hanging from the ceiling would not only give them a visual of the planet we are talking about but, give them a better understanding of what is really out there.
