My Project

The musical instruments in this project will enrich morning meetings and circle time experiences for my students, giving them various instruments to explore, promoting a better connection to songs, and eliminating boredom. Children have better opportunities to engage in learning by participating in fun activities.

Teaching young children with exceptionalities also means that we constantly need to sanitize toys and materials to keep germs at bay, so students and teachers are safe from illnesses, and to keep school attendance and learning strong.

We need social-emotional instructional materials to provide hands-on learning and developmental opportunities for our students in this domain.

Indoor recess is crucial for our students on rainy days, in extreme weather conditions, and in lockdown situations where we cannot take students outdoors for recess. Being able to provide opportunities for students to get the wiggles out and burn energy, allows our day to continue to run smoothly in the classroom; the indoor recess materials will make this goal attainable and fun for our students.

Most of the time, our students are not interested in the school food or in the food provided by their parents. Therefore, they refuse to eat and are hungry. This means that they are cranky and feeling miserable. They cannot learn in this state, so having some snacks readily available in the classroom is important to give them something to eat to satisfy their hunger and keep them learning.
