TLJA School Garden

Help me give my students the opportunity to create a school garden. We already have garden beds and soil, but these learning tools will help us with those beginning steps.

My Project

The scholars at our school come from many different backgrounds, and 70% of them are multilanguage learners new to our country. As their STEAM teacher, I have seen the impact of having hands-on learning experiences for our scholars.

These tools will be used for the gardening unit for the second, third, fourth, and fifth grades.

Our school garden space can be enjoyed by all grades in our school (k-8th). Each class will be learning the life cycle of plants; the hydro growers will be a great visual for them to follow along through the growing process. The other learning tools I am requesting will help my students take care of the garden and teach them responsibility.
